Well I  just love these guys, what can I say? They bring so much relevant material to us and in such a way that it is very ADHD friendly.

Last week it was a webinar with Canadian ADHD coach Linda Walker. So good I watched it twice!

There is a lot of buzz right now in the coaching industry because there is so much validation and recognition for the crucial role that ADHD Coaching can play in the overall treatment of ADHD. Medication, if you choose that option, is just a part of the overall picture.

As ADHD Coach Pete Quily likes to say; " Pills dont teach skills!"

There is a consensus among the Dr's treating people with ADHD, based on compelling research, that people do so much better when they couple their  medication treatment with other therapies such as Coaching or cognitive Behavioral therapy.

Medication is one tool that allows the brain to bring things into focus long enough for them to be able  to learn and integrate new skills and systems for managing their lives...

That's when Coaching can step in to begin to build on that platform.

So many of my clients come to me after they have had a diagnosis and  begun treatment but their lives are still unmanageable, why? Because they are still running them the same way....

Anyway- Coach Linda Walker says it so much better than me, so here is the link to the Totally ADD web site webinar section... enjoy
