Who Am I?

Diane O'Reilly ACG
Life coach, specializing in ADHD.
My path to becoming an ADHD Coach has been a very personal one, it's a profession that seemed to pick me rather than the other way around. My passion for coaching grew out of my own struggles with ADHD.
I discovered my ADHD relatively late in life when my children were diagnosed and I ticked all the boxes along with them, It wasn't that much of a surprise really, more a relief to finally be able to see what the problem had been all these years.
After the discovery of My ADHD along with my children's' I realized that in order to be able to give them the support and tools they would need to flourish I would have to learn as much as I could about this condition. Firstly I opened an ADHD support group for parents of kids with ADHD, this was a fantastic experience where I learned so much from the other parents and the professionals who came to share their experiences at the group.
That's also where I discovered Coaching as a resource for ADHD and it's emerging importance as a part of the recommended multi-modal treatment for ADHD, I set a goal to become an ADHD Coach myself. I trained at the ADDCA coaching academy for my certification, I then began my own Life coaching partnership with a mentor coach, this was a powerful and revelatory experience which helped me to achieve my goals of becoming an ADHD Coach among other things. I could now take my experiences both positive and negative and be able to put them to good use.
Education
I studied for my ADHD coaching certificate at the ADDCA school of coaching out of NY and was delighted with the process and the results. It is one of the foremost schools for ADHD coaching, and the only one so far which has earned an ACTP designation from the International Coaching Federation*, which goes to show the quality of their curriculum.
I graduated with my ACG certification.
*The International Coaching Federation is the governing regulatory body for life Coaching
Experience
I then opened Indigo Tree Coaching and began to put all my experiences into action.
I now coach ADHD people from all walks of life and am enjoying every minute of it!
I coach parents, children, teens and adults, watching them succeed and grow is one of my greatest personal joys. It's a privilege to be invited to be a part of that journey with other ADHD people and their families, helping them gain more clarity, confidence, understanding and success.
